Undergraduate students

If you are an undergraduate interested in working in the lab, please fill out this form: Mortimer Lab Undergraduate Research Interest Form. I will be in touch with interested students approximately one month before the end of the semester to discuss research opportunities for the following semester.

Graduate students

The lab is affiliated with UGA’s Integrated Life Sciences graduate program (Microbiology and Bioinformatics) and the College of Veterinary Medicine’s Comparative Biomedical Sciences graduate program. We also have graduate students from other UGA programs (e.g. Computer Science) working as research assistants in the lab as they pursue their thesis.

Postdoctoral researchers

If you are interested in a postdoctoral position, contact me about opportunities. In your email, please include a brief cover letter outlining your previous research experience and interests in the lab, a CV, and contact information for three references.
