November 20: We are hiring a lab manager!

We are hiring a lab manager! This position will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Mortimer Lab and Joshi Lab. The Mortimer and Joshi labs use genomics to inform the development of precision diagnostics and interventions for bacterial and viral pathogens, respectively. Major duties will include performing in vitro and in vivo assays for research projects; preparing samples for next generation sequencing; maintaining collections of clinical samples, bacterial, and viral stocks; and managing inventory, equipment, budgets, and compliance with laboratory safety regulations. Additionally, this position will be responsible for training and management of other lab members, including undergraduate students.
